Homeschool Families

If you are a homeschool parent, you realize that there comes a time when you seek the help of others to offer your child the best education possible.  When it comes to learning Spanish, we provide you with all the help you need.    

Spanish Luna provides a solid curriculum to homeschool families and classes are led by our native Spanish speaking teachers.  Our service includes  one-on-one student - teacher interaction, textbooks, workbooks, and much more.  Giving you, the parent, the confidence that your child is learning properly and enjoying the learning process.  

Spanish classes are always done live, one-on-one, via the internet in a virtual classroom. Classes are given when it is most convenient to your family. It's like having a personal tutor come to your home when you want and need it the most. All you need is a computer, high speed internet and a microphone.

Curriculums & Tutoring:

Spanish Luna will provide a Spanish curriculum that is suitable for young children and teenagers.  It does not matter if your child is starting Spanish for the first time or ready for the next academic level.  

Let our curriculum give your child the confidence of reading, writing, and speaking Spanish.  If you have ever used books, CDs or software programs, you will know that there are many limitations to them when it comes to learning a foreign language.  For example, you do not have a teacher correcting or enhancing your pronunciation.  

Spanish Luna also provides another service.  If you are a parent that has already started a different curriculum, but is looking for reinforcement with a few hours of tutoring, Spanish Luna can help.  Our one-on-one tutoring will reinforce any Spanish program your child may have already started.  Our tutors will also work on giving your child a proper Spanish accent and pronunciation.  

We also have programs that will prepare your teen for  Advanced Placement college level courses.  When it comes to foreign language requirements, let us work with you to come up with a learning program that best fits your child.

 

You Choose Your Tutoring Time:

Because we realize that you and your family have busy schedules, we offer tutoring 7 days a week.  At Spanish Luna we will do our best to  accommodate your request for a class time.    

If there is ever a sick day, a doctors appointment, vacation, etc... simply work with your personal tutor and he or she will schedule a makeup day.  

How it Works:  

All you need is a high speed connection and a computer microphone.  We will take care of the rest.  Our classes are done via a virtual classroom which means that your computer becomes the chalkboard and telephone.  Setting up takes just a few minutes and your child will be able to take Spanish classes at the comfort of your home or anywhere where he or she has access to a computer.  

Keeping You Informed:  

Our tutors provide you with monthly progress reports that outline the child's progress.  If you ever need to speak with a tutor or a representative of Spanish Luna, we are just a phone call or e-mail away.
